i've made a new blog. in all honesty, i think i'm going to be posting there a lot more than on this one... eventually i may copy and paste all of my entries from this blog to a document and save it, just for old times sake. buuuut, i'm kind of frustrated with this blog. i've been trying and trying to make it more "me" but, blogger and i sometimes don't get along, and the "litheral" template won't remove on here. i really like my new blog better. it's more me, more fun, i just love it already.

first post of 2012. weird. really weird.
since it's the first "official" post of the year, i guess it should be something big. but, considering i've been on pinterest for almost 40 minutes, and blog stalking my bloggy blog blog friends, i'm going to keep this one short and sweet.

i hope it's been great thus far. sorry i haven't been blogging, i've been busy playing with my new camera scarlet. she's my baby. i heart her. i'll post pictures soon. don't you worry.

my goals for twenty twelve:

• learn how to play the guitar.


• finish personal progress.


• communicate with my father in heaven daily.


• stay positive.


• make a photography blog. (thinking of names already, something like smiles & snapshots, or a smile and a snapshot)

my goals are simple. i just want to continue to be happy & to be as outgoing and kind as i can.

oh christmas tree...

YAY! :) christmas is on sunday! i am so stoked! i can barely wait. it seems like just yesterday it was dec. 1st, and i was counting down the days. now, there's only a few days left until santa comes to town...

everyone is so happy. i enjoy it. people are giving. i also enjoy that. people are smiling. i love it! this is what's it about, folks.... this girl is happy.

the future.

i like to think about it. i just do. i like to think about who i'm going to marry & what he's doing at this very moment

i like to think of which school i'll go to. and what profession i'll decide to pursue. what car i'll drive.

i like to plan out my house. at night time, when i can't fall asleep, i think of how many kids i'll have and what their names will be. i'm weird, yes i know. but, the future is fun. for now, i'll just let it do it's thing...

people are kind. and it makes me happy.

i love kindness. in fact, i love it a lot. people have been just making my day lately! and it makes me so happy. i've found myself talking to LOTS of different types of people. &i, haley, love making other peoples day. i love lifting other people up.

kind things that have made my day....
-notes. i love them. and i've been recieving lots of them. i walked into math the other day, to find my math folder written ALL over. i loved it! :)
-"haley, whatever you're doing, keep doing it. seriously. you're quite the catch."
-boy: "haley, could i borrow your pencil?" me: yeah, here ya go! boy: thank you! *erases something on his paper, and coughs (he was sick i guess!)* as i start to grab my pencil back when he's finished, he says "oh, wait, let me go wash my hands before i give it back to you. i wouldn't want to get you sick." i mean, AH! that was the cutest thing ever. any other boy wouldn't care, but there are some boys out there who do! and I LOVE IT. ladies, there's hope! not every boy sags his pants and cusses a storm. there are cutie pies out there, who know how to treat girls. someday, i'm gonna marry one.
-people who are always smiling. i just enjoy it.
-"my goodness, I LOVE YOU! (: special needs is amazing and it's probably the best thing we could be doing. my testimony has grown so much over the two years because of it. heavenly father really knows what he is doing with putting us in there. you are so good with kristen! it puts me in awe. she needed a friend like you and i hope you are her friend till you can not possibly be it. you're so good with her. so good. and now, little miss, i think you are an amazing example! stay strong and never fall. if you ever need me or out of a situation, call me. no matter what! i love you and i hope the best for you. i am so thankful for you and your bubbly personality." -jalissa vizina (greatest gal EVER!)

people are GREAT! :) i had to blog about the kind things that people have done so i won't forget! yay for life.

snow, snow, snow!

YES! there is snow on the ground! of course, i wore tennis shoes and cuffed my jeans into capris today. the day i don't wear boots, there is snow on the ground. life does funny things to you like that. well, well, well, christmas is soon. keep calm, and wait for christmas break to come around. that's what i keep saying to myself.

i just love...

special needs mutual. seriously, i love everything about it. everything. i love my friend, kristen, and the testimony she has. tonight was testimony meeting, and she shared her testimony! it brought tears to my eyes... although it's hard to understand her sometimes, i know that she really does have a testimony, and it was the sweetest thing to hear it.

i love going and seeing jalissa. she is awesome. a great example of what & who i want to be when i'm older. she is amazing. no joke.

i love the boys there. they are all so sweet & so kind. they always open the doors for the ladies, and smile. i just love it!

i love the carpool group! (me, hannah, tamika, and em!) we have too much fun, and i love it.

because when you look around...
this life isn't too shabby. not at all, actually. it's great. incredible. lovely. i love life. don't get me wrong, it gets hard. the world can crush you into a million pieces... but, with the church, my family, and my friends, i think i've got this whole thing down.
